MassMutual Donates $200,000 to Rebuilding Together

We’re dedicated to helping families across the country. One of the ways we demonstrate this is through our support of Rebuilding Together – a national nonprofit organization which provides critical repairs and renovations for low-income homeowners across the United States.

For the past two consecutive years, we have donated to Rebuilding Together in connection with our ongoing efforts to improve customer service and help the environment by reducing paper consumption through the electronic delivery of quarterly account statements. The program provides retirement plan participants, employees and agents with an opportunity to sign up for electronic delivery of their quarterly statements, in the place of mailed paper statements. For each plan participant who opts for e-delivery, the company makes a $2 donation to Rebuilding Together, up to a maximum of $100,000 each year. More than 50,000 participants signed up for e-delivery each year under the program, resulting in an aggregate donation of $200,000.

“MassMutual is very pleased to be able to help families in need by donating to Rebuilding Together in honor of our plan participants,” said Elaine Sarsynski, Executive Vice President of MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division and Chairman, President and CEO of MassMutual International LLC. “Our donation will help many families preserve and protect one of their most precious assets, their home.”

Founded in 1988, Rebuilding Together nationally brings together volunteers, community leaders, and corporate partners to provide critical repairs, accessibility modifications, and energy efficient upgrades to low-income homes and community centers at no cost to the service recipients. With 187 affiliates across the country, Rebuilding Together mobilizes about 100,000 volunteers to complete more than 10,000 projects each year.

MassMutual’s e-delivery program is an important part of the company’s continuous efforts to improve customer service and help the environment by reducing paper consumption. Individuals interested in signing-up for our e-delivery program may log into their RetireSmart account online at or contact our Retirement Services Participant Information Center at 800-743-5274.
