Illness, Caregiving and Quality of Life

    Kelly's Story

Scott and Kelly Rider purchased MassMutual’s disability income insurance when they were young and healthy. While the Riders hoped they’d never need their policy, unfortunately, Scott was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Thankfully, their disability policy will replace part of Scott’s income as his illness progresses and he can no longer work, enabling Kelly to focus on his care and their children.
