We were founded in 1887 as MassMutual’s Minneapolis Agency and continue today as Minneapolis Financial Group, a locally-owned and managed firm. Our network of financial professionals helps enable more than 34,500 clients1 throughout the Upper Midwest to achieve their financial goals. Headquartered in Minneapolis, we also have offices in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Through 2013, Minneapolis Financial Group has:
- over $4.4 billion of life insurance coverage in force2.
- paid over $13.3 million in life insurance benefits3 and $3.8 million in disability income insurance benefits (claims)4 to our clients.
- paid $19.7 million in dividends5 to Minneapolis Financial Group clients who own eligible participating whole life policies with MassMutual.
- distributed $900,000 in free6 life insurance to eligible families as part of MassMutual’s LifeBridgeSM Program.
