Joanne Amorosi joined MassMutual in 2004 after a 30 year teaching career in the Pelham Public Schools. She is a Certified Financial Planner and has focused her practice on retirement, estate and college planning and implementation. The opportunity to mesh her background in education and finance led to her desire to earn and be among the first to be awarded the Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC) designation. She now leads the Special Care Planning Team at MassMutual Westchester, serving families with members who have special needs. She holds insurance licenses in NY, NJ, CT, NH and FL.
She holds Master’s degrees in Education and Administration from Hunter College and The College of New Rochelle, and a BA from Marymount College. Joanne completed her Certificate in Financial Planning at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University and is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Greater Hudson Valley Chapter and The Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow Chamber of Commerce.
She serves on the Board of the Westchester Children’s Association, a non-profit advocacy group working to shape policies and programs for all children in Westchester.
She and husband Martin Ketels live in Pelham Manor and are happily enjoying their roles as new grandparents.
