Dan graduated from Davison High School in 1987 and went on to Florida State University, majoring in Risk Management & Insurance. Eventually transferring to Michigan State University, Dan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 and started with MassMutual the same year.
Following in the footsteps of four generations of his family, Dan and his father, David Fulcher, worked side by side as father and son until 2010 at David’s retirement. In addition to the financial services, Dan and his father also owned and operated a property and casualty insurance agency that spanned the same 90+ years. Dan sold the agency several years ago to concentrate his efforts in financial services. All four generations proudly represented MassMutual since 1920, as Dan continues into his 22nd year with the company.
Dan is committed to volunteering his resources to children’s organizations and charities in the community, such as:
- Recipient of the first ever Sports Illustrated Youth Coach of the Year in 2007
- 25 year member of Kiwanis International
- Big Brothers/ Big Sisters of Greater Flint
- YMCA of Greater Flint
In his spare time, Dan enjoys bowling, golfing and watching University of Michigan basketball. Dan and his wife, Jeane, have two children, Graham and Abigail.
