I am a former professional athlete and played quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and the Hamilton Tiger Cats. I attended the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor in Marketing in August of 2007. In May of 2009, I earned a Master’s of Science in Marketing. In 2008, I was awarded the Aggie Heart Award for seniors who have completed their eligibility and displayed such intangibles as effort, desire, determination, competiveness, leadership, and courage. Also in 2008, I was awarded the Bobby Bowden Athlete of the Year Award, the National FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) award presented to the D1 football player who conducts himself as a faith model in the community, in the classroom, and on the field. I was First Team Academic All-Big 12 in 2007 and 2008. I currently a member of the Texas A&M Association of Former Students and 12th Man Foundation Member. I met his wife, Britt, at Texas A&M and will be married four years in March 2014. We have two pets, Buster, our chocolate lab, and Jazz, our Bengal Cat. I love to hunt and build custom guns. I am an active member of Declaration Church of Bryan, Texas and speak at FCA events, school fundraisers, and churches.
