Joshua Friedlander is a Personal, Estate and Business Advisor with MassMutual Long Island Metro. Joshua began his career with Mutual of Omaha in 2008 where he was recognized for his excellence in the field with awards of “Rookie of the Year” (2008) and appointed to the “Leaders Roundtable” (2008). Joshua then joined MassMutual in 2009 with a desire to help business owners and professionals achieve financial security and independence with their business, estate and personal financial planning.
Joshua’s experience with business owners began early in his career as he was involved with his family’s business, Fun Fast Foods, Inc. Joshua’s time spent helping to run a family business allowed him to understand the diverse dynamics in a family business environment. This understanding is what allows him an ability to meet the needs of his business owner clientele. He now offers fee-based planning for business owners and professionals alike.
Since joining MassMutual, Joshua has earned a place in MassMutual’s Leaders Conference in 2010 and 2013.
Joshua is a Long Island native. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance, as well as a minor in Music, from Stony Brook University. It was Joshua’s time at Stony Brook that led him to discover one of his favorite pastimes, rugby. Joshua played for the Stony Brook Men’s Rugby Team, which has led to participation in the Long Island Men’s Rugby Club.
Joshua and his wife, Roseann, an elementary school teacher, are still proud residents of Long Island. They are active members of their community, including membership in their church in Suffolk County.
