Brian Harrold is a graduate of the University of Kansas. He holds a degree in economics, as well as his life and health and series 7 and 66 licenses. Brian also acquired his CRPC® designation (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) from the College of Financial Planning in 2005, and his ChFC® desgination (Chartered Financial Consultant) from the American College in 2016.
He started his career with Ameriprise Financial in 2004, working as both a financial planner and manager. He later joined Cornerstone Financial Group, and stayed with them as they transitioned to MetLife and now to MassMutual. Throught all of those transitions he has been focused on gaining access to a greater set of solutions to be able to solve even clients’ most complicated problems. At MassMutual, Brian is known for his ability to break down complicated topics for clients and his never-wavering philosophy that the client comes first.
Professionally, Brian is also active within the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. He has been a Chamber Diplomat for over five years and is both a committee chair for the Young Professionals and a voting member of the Government Affairs Committee. He also enjoys volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and Harvesters Community Food Network.
When he isn’t working, Brian enjoys watching Chiefs football, KU basketball, and Formula 1 racing, and spending time with his wife, Trish, and their two boys, Jackson and Charlie. To Brian, business is important, but free time is family time.
