After studying economics in 1990 at Fordham University in New York, I began my career in the retail brokerage space of the financial services industry, eventually working in several different areas of the financial sector. While employed at Bear Stearns during the financial and banking "disaster" of 2008, I witnessed friends and family fall victim to the careless and greed- driven practices of financial institutions. After a five year hiatus from the "business" I was ready to return to finance, but in a different capacity. After researching various financial opportunities, I decided I wanted to be on the protection and financial strategy side of the industry, getting away from the transactional and propietary product culture of the institutions that had done damage to the American public.
I am in the financial strategy sector to impact my clients' lives and alleviate the unecessary uncertainty that people have about their fiscal future. I feel that although every client's financial landscape may look different, the same proative and collaborative approach applies to all.
