With a specialized focus on the Hispanic, Asian Indian, African American and special needs communities, we take great pride in helping individuals, families and business owners make good decisions in order to be financially prepared for many of life’s pivotal events.

    Our Community

    We strive to increase our service to families who are caring for a loved one with a disability or special need, and we have focused our efforts in the special care market working with Easter Seals. Our team of special care planners provides the expertise needed to help secure the futures of those with special needs.

    At MassMutual Greater Houston, we also realize that the future leaders of our organization and community can be found at local universities. We have built and invested in a strong partnership with the University of Houston and the C. T. Bauer College of Business.

    Our Measures of Community Value

    Through 2015, MassMutual Greater Houston has:

    • over $7.7 billion of life insurance coverage in force2.
    • paid over $40.6 million in life insurance benefits3 and $2.7 million in disability income insurance benefits (claims)4 to our clients.
    • paid $24.9 million in dividends5 to MassMutual Greater Houston clients who own eligible participating whole life policies with MassMutual.
    • distributed $23 million in free6 life insurance to eligible families as part of MassMutual’s LifeBridgeSM Program.
