Jonathan Jones is a financial advisor focusing on families, the military, federal employees and business owners. Most of his clients hire him to be their "Personal CFO." He coordinates all aspects of their financial lives, including retirement planning, tax planning, asset management, risk management, estate planning, insurance, children's college planning etc. For business clients, he advises them on all types of benefit programs and qualified plans for their employees, including custom carve-out programs for senior executives.
Jonathan grew up in Greensboro, NC where he graduated from Page High School. After high school he attended Radford University and was a student athlete as part of the men’s soccer program. He attended Appalachian State University his junior and senior year and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing.
While in college, Jonathan began coaching soccer at Watauga High School. His new found enthusiasm for coaching lead him to Old Dominion University where he was an assistant soccer coach for the men’s program from 2001 to 2005.
Jonathan lives in Chesapeake with his wife Erin, son Tristan and daughter Peyton. He remains involved in the soccer community where he serves as the President of the Charity Kicks Soccer Clinic, an annual soccer clinic to raise money for ForKids in Hampton Roads. He is also on the board of directors as the Treasurer for Town Center Condos and attends First Baptist Church in Norfolk.
