Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Marc has an appreciation for the life of the business owner, learning at a young age the importance of good financial management, preparing for life’s obstacles, as well as life’s opportunities. His experience has taught him to be an innovative and creative problem solver. While a teenager, he worked in the family textile business and was exposed to the ups and downs of the economy and challenges of running a business. He learned firsthand the importance of managing cash flow, establishing efficient processes, discipline and building a strong financial team.
Most of all, Marc cares about his clients and enjoys helping people, especially in the areas of financial planning. Whether it’s taxes, legal documents, financing or insurance, Marc surrounds himself with a team of talented professionals, and ensures clients obtain good information as a basis for their decisions. Marc’s analytical nature helps clients address the complexities of good planning, and he believes in using a cost effective approach to assist clients in maximizing their planning objectives, and having adequate protection and income solutions to achieve life’s goals.
Marc enjoys continuous learning, reading history and financial literature, and building on experiences that he can apply to help his clients better their financial position. Most recently, Marc has leveraged his many years of experience in fundraising and charitable giving to assist his clients to define meaning in their estate and charitable gift planning.
Marc has an undergraduate degree in Finance from Denver University, an MBA from DePaul University and attended the London School of Economics. He is active in the Financial Professionals Association, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Mid-American Planned Giving Council. Marc is highly involved in the community through a variety of volunteer work and serves on the board of Jewish Family Services. He enjoys spending time with family, coaching his son’s sporting teams, spending weekends at the lake and traveling the world. He lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife Alana Muller and their son, Ian.
