Kenneth T. Podell has over 25 years' experience in Wealth Management and Financial Planning. He began his career as a Financial Advisor with First Financial Group, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) in 1986. Ken has passion for the work and focuses on helping every client better their position and add certainty to their income planning. He helps business owners and individuals develop and implement plans for retirement security helping them accumulate and safely build wealth.
Ken has been recognized as a Leaders Club Qualifier with MassMutual for 10 years (2003-2012) and qualified for Blue Chip Council in 2012. He has been a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifier for nine years (2005-2013), qualifying for Court of the Table the last two years (2011 & 2012).
Ken is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with an individualized major in American Economic History. He is licensed to offer Health, Life and Disability Income and Long Term Care Insurances and holds his FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations. In addition, Ken has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations.
As a member of the community, Ken has served on the board of PALU, the Bala Cynwyd Public Library and Beth Am Israel in Penn Valley. He has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) for over 25 years and currently serves as the President of First Financial Group's Agents Association of MassMutual.
Ken lives in Wynnewood, PA with his wife, Jeanne DeVine, their two children, Alexandra and Daria, and their two wonderful dogs, Cody and Luna.
