Prior to engaging into an advisory relationship with Al, most of his clients had achieved varying degrees of success already. They often believed they were ‘all set,’ because of the various advisors and financial solutions they had acquired prior to being introduced. The opportunity for financial growth existed because of the fact that their current advisors and solutions had been acquired independent of each other. This left the client to do the heavy lifting from a strategic standpoint in both building and executing their comprehensive financial blueprint. As a result, indecisive and reactionary decisions were being made which ultimately left money ‘on the table.’
When Al followed his passion and became Partner with Commonwealth Financial Group, he made a conscious decision to align himself with a firm that specializes in strategic financial planning, and is not limited to just investment planning. Any advisor can sell investments and insurance, but what makes Al and his team unique is their ability to serve as a single-source wealth management solution. Their objective being to develop and oversee a comprehensive financial strategy for companies, institutions, families, business owners, and professionals.
When it comes to financial planning, Al takes a common sense approach. First, he seeks to understand his client’s goals, objectives, desires and wants. Secondly, he collaborates with his team of subject matter experts at Commonwealth Financial Group, in unison with existing advisors of the client, to develop a comprehensive strategy customized to each individual client. His business owner clients often share with him that this is the first time they’ve ever experienced integration of their personal, business, tax and estate planning. By way of this holistic team-based approach, Al’s clients are able to make decisions that will have significant financial impact.

Al graduated from Stonehill College with a B.S. in Business Administration. He also played collegiate tennis for four years, making it to the NCAA tournament twice. He maintains a Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation and has been certified by The American College with a certificate in ‘Business Succession Planning.’ In addition, he holds a Life, Accident & Health license, as well as Series 7 and 66 securities registrations.
Active in his community, Al also serves on the board of both the Saugus Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. He resides in Saugus, MA with his wife Vanessa and their son, Anthony.
