My personal mission in life is to be an advocate for financial responsibility and help others lead more fulfilling and enriched lives through economic literacy and preparedness. As managing partner of Charterpoint Wealth Strategies, I’m proud to lead – and be part of - a talented cadre of advisors who strive to make this happen every day. Stemming from the loss of my first-born son in 1994, I’ve made the profound commitment to channel my energies into making a greater impact on society and focus my intense drive on family and community.
Something everyone who knows me will always hear me saying is Aspire, Assess and Achieve; a mantra that underlies how our firm culture is built and reflects the strong values of growth, teamwork and performance that define us. We take pride in supporting our advisors’ development as they become the best they can be as professionals and as people. While I am certainly pleased to watch our advisors go from 13 leaders conference qualifiers to 20, it’s even more gratifying to know that their success means heightened impacts on their lives and those of their families and their clients.
Having gone through the loss of a child, I know that each day is a gift. I honor that gift by striving to become a better person, husband, father and leader. To me, it’s sharing motivational stories as a role model and mentor, and sharing my passions and time with my wife and sons, whether watching their hockey games, playing golf or hunting and fishing together in the Minnesota wilderness. I am also deeply committed to several charitable organizations including the Veterans Groups Folds of Honor and Defend the Blue Line, as well as the Pediatric Cancer Center, which provides gifts to children in the hospital, and the Children’s Hope Foundation in Philadelphia, which I co-founded to honor my late son, who will continue to be my inspiration in all that I do.
