Springfield, Mass. – MassMutual today announced that Elizabeth Forget has joined the company as head of product. In this role, Forget is responsible for the creation and management of innovative protection, accumulation, distribution and retirement solutions for MassMutual’s retail, worksite and institutional customers.
Forget reports to Paul LaPiana, head of brand, product and affiliated distribution for MassMutual, who most recently held this role. Forget and her management team, which includes the heads of MassMutual Investments, life insurance products, annuities, health and worksite products, and product implementation, will be charged with continuing to develop a broad, diverse product portfolio that meets the varying needs of today’s customers.

Forget joins MassMutual after spending the last six years with J.P. Morgan Asset Management where she was most recently a managing director and global head of client experience. Previously, Forget held leadership roles with MetLife, Equitable, and Banker’s Trust Company.
Forget holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College.
Forget is currently on the Board of the international nonprofit organization, TrickleUp, and on the Advisory Board of the Kellogg Finance Network. She and her dog Scout are a registered therapy dog team with New York Therapy Animals.
