MassMutual and the other NAFE Top 50 Companies lead corporate America in commitment to female leadership, outpacing the FORTUNE 500. According to the NAFE Top Companies for Executive Women 2014 Executive Summary, women now make up 28 percent of corporate executives at NAFE Top 50 companies vs. 15 percent in the FORTUNE 500 and occupy 27 percent of all board of director seats at NAFE Top 50 vs. 17 percent in the FORTUNE 500.

“Inclusion on the list of NAFE Top 50 Companies for Executive Women again this year truly underscores our commitment to recruiting, retaining and advancing women at MassMutual,” said Elaine Sarsynski, executive vice president of MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division and chairman of MassMutual International LLC. “We are especially proud of the growing female representation in our advancement programs, such as the Women’s Leadership Network, resulting in more women at higher levels of our organization,” she said.

“This year, we see measurable progress for women at companies that have made their advancement a priority, a smart strategy given the growing research that correlates greater numbers of women in top positions with higher revenues,” remarked NAFE President Betty Spence, after the event.
