What is the WELL Program?

MassMutual offers the Wellness-Enhanced Lifestyle and Longevity (WELL) Rider, an optional cash rewards program.

With this limited-time cash rewards program, you can take advantage of the steps you’re already taking. Best of all, your added wellness benefit comes at no cost to you.

In the LivingWELL by MassMutual app, you’ll activate the WELL Rider benefit and connect it to your fitness tracker. Then, keep tabs on your day-to-day activity to start earning rewards for your healthy lifestyle.

The WELL Rider is a living benefit available for eligible MassMutual Term policyowners. The WELL Rider is available at no additional cost.

Get Rewards

WELL Points convert to cash rewards and are automatically deposited into your bank account each month.

Am I eligible?

The WELL Rider will be offered for a limited time through participating agencies. In addition, you must:

  • Own an eligible MassMutual term insurance policy,* issued on or after January 1, 2021 and on and before February 28, 2025 (or the date it is available after state approval, if later).
  • Have paid the initial scheduled premium.
  • Be both the policyowner and the insured. The policy cannot be trust owned.
  • Own a policy that has a contract state where the WELL program is available. The WELL program may not be available in all states. Not available for foreign nationals.

You will have 6 months to activate the WELL program.

*MassMutual term policies marketed as HavenLife and offered through Haven Life Insurance Agency are not eligible.

 

What do I need to activate the WELL Rider?

  • MassMutual.com account, linked to your insurance policy. Create an account.
  • iPhone (iOS 16+) or Android device (OS 9+)
  • One of the following supported fitness trackers:
    • iPhone (iOS v16+)*Android Phones (OS v9+)
    Apple® devicesFitbitTM activity trackers
    FitbitTM activity trackersŌura® devices**
    Garmin® devicesSamsung® devices**
    Ōura® devices
    WHOOP® devices

*iPhone, without an additional fitness tracker, can be used to earn WELL Points for only activity (no sleep).

**Oura and Samsung devices on Android can be used to earn WELL Points for only steps and sleep.
