Product Specifications
A variable annuity offered only to certain non-profit employees
Tax Sheltered Annuities, or TSA's, are offered solely to employees of public school systems, universities, hospitals, churches and other charitable and non-profit organizations.
A wide variety of investment choices
With more than 40 investment choices, including one Fixed Account, MassMutual Artistry offers you a wide variety of investment choices, including access to virtually every asset class. Within MassMutual Artistry, you have the ability to diversify your portfolio to meet your risk and financial objectives.

During the accumulation phase, you may currently make an unlimited number of transfers among MassMutual Artistry's professionally managed investment choices.

Ownership
TSA's provide full ownership to the employee, which means that all contributions and earnings belong to you - even if you change jobs. If your next job is for an employer who qualifies for a TSA plan, you may be able to continue to invest within the same TSA through your new employer.
A loan provision
Depending on your employer's plan, MassMutual Artistry includes a loan provision. Within this loan provision, you may:
Take as many as three loans at one time, but no more than 2 can be taken in one calendar year.
Borrow a minimum of $1,000 per loan; maximum of the lesser of $50,000 or 50% of the present value of your contract's non-forfeitable accrued benefit.

Loans must be repaid on a quarterly basis over a five-year period, unless the loan is for the purchase of your primary home, in which case the repayment period is over a 15-year period. Loans must be repaid by the date you attain age 70˝ even if this is shorter than the otherwise applicable 5 or 15 year maximum.

In general, loans should only be taken in the event of an emergency, because the purpose of your TSA is to grow assets to help fund your retirement.

Please read the variable annuity and underlying fund prospectuses carefully before purchasing a contract, investing or sending money. These prospectuses are available through the link in the financial documents section above. Please contact your registered representative if you have any questions.
