MassMutual
at home: reading achievers
null
Each year, over 5,000 elementary and middle school students read at least 25 books to earn a reward.
The MassMutual Reading Achievers program recognizes the old adage that children first learn to read, and then read to learn. The earlier youngsters develop a love for reading, the more apt they will be to succeed academically.

MassMutual recognizes elementary and middle school students who read at least 25 books during the school year in Springfield, Mass., and Hartford, Conn.

Students receive a certificate of achievement and an invitation to a special party in recognition of their accomplishments. School officials credit the program with helping to boost the reading scores of participating students.
