The Actuarial Student Program at MassMutual helps you to become a qualified Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) by providing you with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully pass the actuarial exams, while preparing you for leadership roles within our organization.
Throughout the program, you will be given rotational opportunities (three, 24-month rotations) in various business or corporate units working hands on to develop additional technical, functional and industry experience.
During the rotation process, you will have the following opportunities:
- Receive mentoring, career guidance, development and coaching with senior actuarial leaders.
- Attend actuarial forums and external seminars and meetings.
- Perform pricing and product development.
- Forecast investment results for MassMutual entities.
- Review and analyze quarterly and year-end results.
- Provide data and financial analysis to the strategic businesses, our corporate areas and one of our subsidiaries, Babson Capital Management LLC.
- Review regulatory issues.
- Consult with Actuaries, investment professionals and accounting professionals.
