MassMutual Responds to the Severe Storms and Tornadoes in Oklahoma
In response to the devastating impact of the tornadoes and severe weather in Oklahoma, MassMutual has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, and we will also match eligible contributions in support of the relief effort from MassMutual employees and financial professionals through our Matching Gift Program.
Additionally, our disaster relief and servicing guidelines help ensure that policyowners and clients in impacted areas have service and product options available to them when natural disasters occur. These may include extended grace periods, lost policy assistance, address change support, and various policy provisions. In response to the damage caused by natural disasters, including severe storms, flooding, tornadoes, and landslides, the premium paying grace period* has been extended for the counties listed below.

*The normal premium paying grace period is 31 days for our life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and annuity contracts for which premium payments are required.
