Grace Period Extensions
In response to the damage caused by natural disasters, including severe storms, flooding, tornadoes, and landslides, the premium paying grace period* has been extended for the counties listed below.
Alabama: Chilton, Jefferson and Perry
Premium Due Dates: 2/1/2012 - 3/3/2012
Normal Grace Period: 3/3/2012 - 4/3/2012
New Grace Period: 3/3/2012 - 5/4/2012
Virginia: Albemarle, Culpeper, Fluvanna, Fredericksburg City, Goochland, King George, Louisa, Orange and Spotsylvania
Premium Due Dates: 11/4/2011 - 12/5/2011
Normal Grace Period: 12/5/2011 - 1/5/2012
New Grace Period: 12/5/2011 - 2/5/2012
Connecticut: Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland and Windham
Premium Due Dates: 11/3/2011 - 12/4/2011

*The normal premium paying grace period is 31 days for our life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and annuity contracts for which premium payments are required. As part of our Natural Disaster Program, this 31-day grace period has been extended by an additional 31 days yielding a total grace period of 62 days.
