    MassMutual’s Disaster Relief and Servicing Guidelines

    MassMutual’s disaster relief and servicing guidelines help ensure that policyowners and clients in impacted areas have service and product options available to them when natural disasters occur. These may include extended grace periods, lost policy assistance, address change support, and various policy and plan provisions.     Grace Period Extensions
    In response to the damage caused by natural disasters, including severe storms, flooding, tornadoes, and landslides, the premium paying grace period* has been extended for the counties listed below.


    Florida: ESCAMBIA, JACKSON, OKALOOSA, SANTA ROSA and WALTON COUNTY

    Premium Due Dates: 5/6/2014 - 6/6/2014
    Normal Grace Period: 6/6/2014 - 7/7/2014
    New Grace Period: 6/6/2014 - 8/7/2014


    Alabama: BALDWIN, BLOUNT, DE KALB, ETOWAH, JEFFERSON COUNTY, LEE, LIMESTONE, MOBILE COUNTY and TUSCALOOSA

    Premium Due Dates: 5/2/2014 - 6/2/2014
    Normal Grace Period: 6/2/2014 - 7/3/2014
    New Grace Period: 6/2/2014 - 8/3/2014


    Mississippi: ITAWAMBA, JONES, LEAKE, LEE, LOWNDES, MADISON, MONTGOMERY, RANKIN, SIMPSON, WARREN, WAYNE and WINSTON

    Premium Due Dates: 4/30/2014 - 5/31/2014
    Normal Grace Period: 5/31/2014 - 7/1/2014
    New Grace Period: 5/31/2014 - 8/1/2014


    Arkansas: FAULKNER, PULASKI, RANDOLPH and WHITE

    Premium Due Dates: 4/29/2014 - 5/30/2014
    Normal Grace Period: 5/30/2014 - 6/30/2014
    New Grace Period: 5/30/2014 - 7/31/2014


    Washington: SKAGIT and SNOHOMISH

    Premium Due Dates: 4/2/2014 - 5/3/2014
    Normal Grace Period: 5/3/2014 - 6/3/2014

    *The normal premium paying grace period is 31 days for our life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and annuity contracts for which premium payments are required. As part of our Natural Disaster Program, this 31-day grace period has been extended by an additional 31 days yielding a total grace period of 62 days.
